Without question, if you ask locals in the Gold Coast where you need to eat, one place everyone told me to try is Bam Bam Bakehouse. Bam Bam Bakehouse is a trendy bakery in Mermaid Beach, that is notorious for having lines out the door with locals who want to devour their mouthwatering pastries.
I recommend showing up early as pastries sell out quick (and the restaurant closes at 3pm). Bam Bam Bakehouse is the perfect spot to go for breakfast, brunch or even an afternoon coffee and pastry.

The menu has tons of healthy breakfast options like acai bowls which are fantastic, but it is the baked good here that you need to try. Some of the best items on the menu would be the cruffins, choux bombs, and almond croissant. To drink they are known for their blue mermaid latte.
As someone who loves pastries, I’ve tried my fair share of top-end baked goods all around the world, and the pastries at Bam Bam Bakehouse are some of the best I’ve ever had. If you get the chance to come here you won’t regret it.
