Last night I had the pleasure of watching the Blue Man Group’s world tour. The show is a bit hard to describe but is a series of wacky acts that have them making art and music in unexpected ways. For example, they make music from large piping tubs, a large digital cell phone, or drums covered in paint. Likewise, they have created art from catching pods of paint and splattering them onto the canvas. Despite how strange it might sound, it surprisingly works.
Even before the show starts, the opening screens will have you laughing warning you to avoid sexting or giving away government secrets during the show. My favourite part had to be at the end when they send massive illuminated balls into the audience and have multicoloured streamers rain down. The entire experience was just so much fun.
If you are looking for an evening of laughs, the Blue Man Group is a show you won’t want to miss.
