Located just a short 25-minute drive from Mont-Tremblant and 2 hours outside of Ottawa, Blueberry Lake Resort is the perfect rustic chalet vacation spot for large groups. Blueberry Lake Resort has several different massive chalets surrounding the lake, so depending on how many people you are travelling with it is possible to rent several buildings that are next to each other.
Ranging from 3 to 5 bedrooms in size, I stayed at the larger 5 bedroom Iroquois chalet. The cottage had both an upstairs and downstairs living room, a large kitchen, and a dining room table that could comfortably seat 10 people.
Each of the bedrooms was large and spacious and came with all the necessary bedding. In total there was 1 king bedroom, 2 queen bedrooms, and 2 bedrooms with 2 twin beds. There was also 4 1/2 bathrooms, with many of the bedrooms having their own ensuite bathrooms.
The large basement living room also came with a pool table that could be converted to a ping pong table which was perfect for evening entertainment.
On the raised deck there was a few lounge chairs, a patio table, and BBQ. The deck was located directly in front of the lake, so between the trees, you could view the water, which made the deck a relaxing spot to read a book outside.
To keep you entertained there is plenty to do. Most of the cottages have private hot tubs, and there is a nature path surrounding the lake for those wishing to hike. At the dock, there is also a variety of kayaks, pedal boats, and canoes available to rent, or you can dive into the lake and go for a swim! The convenient location near Mont-Tremblant also makes it perfect to do drive to and explore all the fun activities Mont-Tremblant offers too.
