In the heart of the Laurentians, Casino Mont Tremblant is just 10 minutes away from Mont Tremblant Village. With convenient free shuttles to take you to and from the village or the complimentary valet parking, the casino is the perfect spot to unwind after hiking or hitting the slopes.
What I love about the Casino Mont Tremblant is that is an entertainment complex offering much more than slot machines and gaming tables, here you can find a beautiful view of the mountain, excellent gastronomy at the Altitude Restaurant, concerts, a DJ on Friday and Saturdays, and fun theme nights!
Leading up to the New Year, there will be plenty of fun themed night including the Grinch and Santa Claus appearing at the casino on Fridays and Saturdays, and there will be a special menu just for the holidays too. For those of you still planning what to do for the holidays, I think spending New Year’s Eve or around Christmas would be perfect no matter if you are planning a romantic getaway or fun vacation with friends. You could go skiing and relax in the hot tubs in the day, and at night go dancing, have a cocktail at one of the bars, savour the food at Altitude Restaurant, test your luck on the tables or slot machines, and enjoy the holiday programming.
If you are looking to gamble, one of the best areas to do so at Casino Mont Tremblant would be the multi-game station where you can sit next to your friends and everyone can play a different game. The machines allow you to pick between craps, sic bo, baccarat, American roulette, slot machines, blackjack or poker, so even if everyone can’t agree on the same game to play you can still sit next to each other.
Right next to the multi-gaming stations you’ll also find the DJ and bar, so you could easily spend the entire evening dancing and gambling just in one corner alone.
While of course there are plenty of traditional gaming tables and slot machines at the casino too, fans of Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead will be happy to discover some of the new slot machines with themes of popular TV shows.

When visiting the Casino Mont Tremblant, you need to visit the Altitude Restaurant which has a large central window and balcony so that you can enjoy the stunning view of Mont Tremblant. This seafood and grill restaurant and restaurant lounge is the perfect spot to savour the three-course table d’hote, or truly explore the gastronomy offerings with a surprise five-course discovery menu ($90 or $150 with wine pairing). The casino also offers a lovely Sunday brunch perfect to help you ease into the day.
On Friday and Saturday evenings, you can discover new artists performing in the lounge area under the massive disco ball.
For my visit, I tried the create your own table d’hote where you get an entree, main, and dessert. As salmon is my favourite fish, I opted for the salmon tartare with a mayonnaise curry, turmeric, saffron and poppy seed puffed rice served with marinated vegetables and baguette. The dish had loads of flavour and was the perfect seasoned tartare.
For my main course, I picked the Angus beef prime rib which was one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. Steak lovers, rejoice as not only the steak was cooked to perfection, but the portion is massive. The prime rib was served with roasted vegetables and a family-style bowl of mashed potatoes or french fries.
The chef also graciously provided me with some oysters to try.
Finally, for dessert, I had a pumpkin cake that was topped with a pumpkin mouse and served with a cookie, fresh blueberries, and a delightfully tart carrot ice cream. The sweet pumpkin contrasted so nicely with the cold tart carrot ice cream that I couldn’t get enough of this dessert.

My evening at the Casino Mont Tremblant was outstanding. The chalet seamlessly blends the rustic and chic design to create the perfect setting for a fun night out. Even if you do not like to gamble, the dining and entertainment will have you wanting to return every time you are at Tremblant.
