Who doesn’t love getting flowers? If there is one thing sure to put a smile on my face, its bouquet. I just discovered City Love Flowers in Ottawa, and I’m already a huge fan.
What makes them unique is they deliver gorgeous seasonal blooms grown right here in the city. But what makes them truly special is their heartwarming Elderflower Campaign that bringing flowers to isolated seniors.
For a $15 donation, you can brighten the day of a senior in our community. City Love Flowers will deliver a bouquet of blooms. I adore this project, as COVID-19 has been so challenging for our senior community. But a small monetary donation could make a difference in someone’s day.
It is effortless to donate too. Just visit this website, and add one order (or multiple if you feel extra generous) to your shopping cart. That’s it. Just a few clicks, and you help put a smile on a stranger’s face.
While you are at it, you can also get some flowers for your home. Prices range from $25 to $55, depending on the size you get. The smallest is a collection of short stem buds, but the medium and large is your traditional bouquet with longer stems.
For my order, I went with the medium “more” size, which you can see, is massive. It has beautiful zinnias, amaranth, dahlias, cosmos and more.
I was also impressed by how long the flowers lasted. It has been 1.5 weeks so far, and 75% of the blossoms still look perfect.
They offer contactless delivery in Ottawa. How it works is you leave a mason jar at your door, and they will leave the kraft paper wrapped blooms by your door.
What are you waiting for? Order some flowers for you, and donate to Elderflower Campaign too.
