Support Locally Made Products At Craftfest

Celebrate local entrepreneurship and makers at Craftfest which will be taking place from June 11-25 with 15 days of events at Zibi (6 Booth Street).

Opening on June 11, the Popup shop at Craftfest will have something for everyone including DIY workshop, mini escape games, artisan drinks, handmade goods for sale from over 150 Canadian artists, and craft beer tasting event on June 11th.

When visiting Craftfest there will be a plethora of local vendors, from furniture, food, and accessories to shop. I recommend getting a chocolate bar from Alicja Confections, a whiskey barrel & smoke candle from Blackette and Co., getting some kombucha from Culture Kombucha, a headband from Eaby Chic, and some ice cream from The Merry Dairy just to name a few.

Throughout Craftfest there will be a variety of different free or paid workshops that you will be able to sign up for, such as learning calligraphy from The Happy Ever Crafter, making a paper fox from Low Poly Crafts, or how to make a cheeseboard taught by Art in Jest.

For those of you who love escape rooms as much as I do make sure to check out the escape boxes which are escape room style puzzles all contained in one box. The wonderful thing about these boxes is you can bring the game to your home and host a party where your friends and family can attempt to tackle the puzzles. At Craftfest there will be several different themed escape boxes from Mini Escape Games, who also designed Stewards of Time escape room at Funhaven.
