On Royal Caribbean cruises there are plenty of dining options to pick from. One several of the ships you’ll find Johnny Rockets, a 1950s themed diner that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Johnny Rockets is known for offering classic American favourites like burgers, milkshakes and fries. When dining on Royal Caribbean for lunch or dinner you will need to pay to dine at Johnny Rockets, but the prices are very low, and well worth the experience if you are craving a juicy burger.
Lunch + Dinner
When I visited at lunch on the Harmony Of The Seas there was absolutely no line, so I was able to walk in and get a table. I opted for the Route 66 burger which is an Angus patty topped with Swiss cheese, grilled mushrooms, caramelized onions and served on a brioche bun. Overall it was a good burger, and surprisingly rather large too.

To drink I ordered a chocolate malt, which is my first malt drink, and certainly won’t be my last as I loved it. While for dessert I had a chocolate sundae, which was again huge! My only warning is to go here hungry as the portions are massive.
Breakfast
When your cruise ship is having a sea day, Johnny Rockets will also be open for breakfast. Unlike at lunch or dinner, Johnny Rockets is free for breakfast. On the menu, you’ll find eggs, french toast, pancakes, or breakfast sandwiches.

While the breakfast was okay, I did prefer the breakfast included in the dining room better. If you have to pick between the free breakfast, or paid dinner/lunch I would suggest the later as the burgers and malts are what this restaurant excels at.
