In addition to regular or massive sized tanks, the Rochelle Aquarium also has several different aquariums where you can watch the fish swim above you (or all around you).
For 16 euros per adult visiting, La Rochelle Aquarium was one of my highlights of visiting La Rochelle. I had such as wonderful time spending several hours watching the marine life. English tourist will be happy to note that you can request an English audio guide when you purchase your tickets!
