A Nashville Food Tour Perfect For Foodies – Walk Eat Nashville

Food tours are one of my fav ways to explore a city. If you are someone who loves to sample several different dishes, then you’ll enjoy this Nashville food tour as you’ll get to try incredible food at some of the best spots in the city.

While in Nashville, I had the pleasure of doing a food tour with Walk Eat Nashville. They have several different tours available, but I opted for the Midtown tour, which is $69 a person.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Guided by Karen-Lee, the Founder and Ceo of Walk Eat Nashville, we hit up some of the best places to eat in Midtown.

The 3-hour tour is the perfect blend of sightseeing and meal all in one. Over a few hours, I was able to learn tons of local sights and get pro suggestions of other places to visit.

I’d suggest using it to replace a meal, as the incredible food was plentiful. There was way more than I could eat and left stuffed.

Close to downtown, Midtown is a bustling area with an exciting culinary scene. Here many celebrities like Taylor Swift have residences, and it is a popular area to spot musicians dining.

Tavern – Waffle platter “maple fondue”
Tavern – Singapore Stir Fry

On the Midtown tour, you’ll make six stops, but the exact locations are subject to change.

I had so many delicious things, but the tacos and bacon at Saltine and the waffle brunch platter at Tavern were two of the best bites.

Saltine – surprise cocktail
Saltine – fish tacos

I couldn’t get over how the tacos had rice in them, but it worked so well. Meanwhile, I’m not really into bacon, but the crispy pork belly from Saltine was divine.

Speaking to locals, they also praise the brunch waffle platter at Tavern, saying how they love to split it with friends (with the red velvet waffles being the clear favourite).

Gigi’s Cupcakes – cookie dough cupcake

On the sweet side, Gigi’s Cupcakes is a sugar lover’s paradise. Here we got to pick a gourmet cupcake to take home. Already to full to have another bit, I chose the cookie dough cupcake to eat later. I have to say the dessert was a bit of bliss.

Next time I’m back in Nashville, I want to join for more of the Walk Eat Nashville tours and eat my way across the city.
